Jewelry Care

Your H&H Jewelry was made to shine. Proper care and storage will help keep your pieces looking their best for as long as possible.

Everyday Care

To help protect your jewelry:

  • Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, oils, hairspray, and other beauty products.
  • Keep jewelry away from household cleaners and harsh chemicals.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry in pools, hot tubs, or salt water.
  • Put your jewelry on last when getting ready and take it off first when getting undressed.
  • Handle your pieces gently and avoid pulling, bending, or putting unnecessary pressure on chains and settings.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

After wearing your jewelry, gently wipe it with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils and residue.

For a deeper clean, use a jewelry-safe cleaning method appropriate for your specific piece. Avoid abrasive cleaners, rough brushes, or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish or stones.

CZ Jewelry

Cubic zirconia can lose some of its sparkle when oils, lotions, and everyday buildup collect on the stones.

Regularly wiping your CZ jewelry with a soft cloth and limiting exposure to moisture, chemicals, perfumes, and lotions will help maintain its shine.

Moissanite Jewelry

Moissanite is a durable stone designed for beautiful, long-lasting sparkle. However, buildup from oils, lotions, soaps, and beauty products can temporarily dull its appearance.

Clean your moissanite jewelry periodically with a soft cloth and gentle jewelry-safe cleaning solution to maintain its brilliance.

Storage

When you're not wearing your jewelry:

  • Store each piece separately whenever possible.
  • Keep jewelry in its H&H packaging or a soft jewelry pouch.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep chains secured to help prevent tangling.
  • Avoid storing jewelry in humid areas such as bathrooms.

Please Remember

Jewelry naturally experiences wear over time. The longevity of your piece and its finish will depend on factors including frequency of wear, individual body chemistry, environment, and how the jewelry is cared for.

Normal wear, tarnishing, fading, scratches, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper care are not considered manufacturing defects.

Treat your H&H pieces with care and they'll keep bringing the shine. ✨
